Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Timed Research Quest : Steps & rewards
Hey there fellow Pokemon Go trainers! Have you heard about the exciting “Valorous Hero” timed research quest? It’s currently available on the “Today” screen, but you’ll need to act fast because it’s ending on May 17th. Don’t miss out on the chance to earn some amazing rewards and become a Valorous Hero!
To complete this quest, you’ll need to navigate through two different steps :
Step 1 of 2
- Power up Pokemon 10 times – 1,000 Stardust
- Catch 5 Pokemon – 10 Poke Balls
- Make 5 Great Throws – 10 Razz Berries
- Battle 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts – 5 Hyper Potions
Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 1 Fast TM
Once you’ve completed step one, it’s time to move onto the second and final step.
Step 2 of 2
- Power up Pokemon 10 times – 1,000 Stardust
- Catch 5 Pokemon – 10 Poke Balls
- Make 5 Great Throws – 10 Razz Berries
- Battle in a gym 3 times – 5 Hyper Potion
Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 1 Charged TM
Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Special Research Quest : Steps & rewards
Welcome to the exciting “A Valorous Hero” special research quest in Pokemon Go! This quest can be found on the “Special” screen and has no end date, as long as you log in and begin the quest during the event.
Here are the steps and rewards for this special research quest:
Step 1 of 4
- Catch 15 Pokémon (10 Poké Balls)
- Use 15 Berries to help catch Pokémon (10 Razz Berries)
- Power up Pokémon 5 times (1,000 Stardust)
Rewards: 1,500 XP, Charmander encounter
Step 2 of 4
- Use 5 Supereffective Charged Attacks (10 Pinap Berries)
- Power up Pokémon 10 times (2,000 Stardust)
- Battle 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts (3 Revives)
Rewards: 2,000 XP, Stufful encounter
Step 3 of 4
- Catch 15 Pokémon (10 Great Balls)
- Power up Pokémon 15 times (2,500 Stardust)
- Battle in a Gym 3 times (5 Revives)
Rewards: 2,000 XP, Ponyta encounter wearing a Candela-themed accessory
Step 4 of 4
- Claim Reward (80 Mega Charizard Energy)
- Claim Reward (5 Hyper Potions)
- Claim Reward (7 Revives)
Rewards: 2,500 XP, 2,500 Stardust

Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Exclusive Field Research Quests and Rewards :
The Valorous Hero Exclusive Field Research is here to offer you a unique and exciting challenge! This event offers a variety of tasks that can be collected by spinning Pokestops, and the best part is that you can complete them even after the event ends. Here are the tasks and their respective rewards:
- Battle 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts ( Reward : 5 Revives)
- Battle in a Gym ( Reward : 3 Hyper Potions)
- Power up a Pokémon ( Reward : 300 Stardust)
- Power up a Pokémon 5 times ( Reward : 1,000 Stardust)
- Power up a Pokémon 10 times ( Reward : Ponyta encounter)

Pokemon Go A Valorous Hero Event Bonuses
From May 11 to May 17, this event brings a number of exciting bonuses that will enhance your gameplay experience :
- 2x Catch candy : double Candy for catching Pokemon
- 2x chance to earn XLs Candy XL : if you’re a trainer level 31 or above, you can earn double the chance of getting Candy XL when catching Pokemon
- Debut of Mega Pinsir in raids
- Special research awarding Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory
- Timed research, awarding TMs
- 2 Rocket Components from Team GO Rocket grunts
- One extra free raid pass daily
