Fortnite Spring Breakout event 2023 : Gameplay changes , Map changes and New weapons
The Fortnite Spring Breakout event in 2023 will introduce new gameplay changes, map changes, and weapons. Players will encounter green and purple chickens that lay different types of eggs, including green eggs that restore health and shield gradually, blue eggs that provide a health boost and temporary low gravity effect, and golden eggs that add to your bars but cannot be added to your inventory.
The event will also feature several areas on the map with a spring theme, where cherry blossom flowers will replace green leaves on trees.
The Egg Launcher is also returning, and players can obtain it through chests, ground loot, Supply Drops, and NPCs. However, the weapon will be vaulted again once the event leaves the game on April 11, 2023.
In addition to the Egg Launcher, several Reality Augments will be added for the duration of the season, such as Rail Warrior, Go For Broke, Aquatic Warrior, and Game Time.
The event will introduce new NPCs known as Specialists, who fit into class types such as Scout, Heavy, Supply, and Medical. The NPCs will now be shown on the map in-game, making it easier to locate them. Scout Specialists are great snipers and can ping enemies and chests, Heavies can take more damage and carry an explosive-centric inventory, Supply Specialists drop ammo and building materials, and Medical Specialists heal players with Chug Splash.
These changes aim to make the event more fun and exciting for players, offering more opportunities to win and have fun.
