A fresh leak appears to have revealed the map for the upcoming Warzone 2 Resurgence (rebirth) mode, which will launch in 2023. Resurgence was a popular option in the first Warzone.
Resurgence’s fast-paced gameplay made it a popular option in the first Warzone, while smaller maps like Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep attracted a devoted following. Players may now have had their first look of the Warzone 2 Resurgence map thanks to a recent leak .

Warzone gamer ‘iamDEVANS’ provided a picture of a leaked Resurgence map from a CoD Facebook group in a Reddit thread on December 4th. You can have a look of the leaked map here .
The setting of the new Resurgence map is an island, like Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep. Several POIs, including a castle, town center, port, and many more, have their names revealed, but there is no indication of what it will be called. Also According to the leak, the resurgence map would support 50 players and will be used for Ground War and DMZ modes.
As one thread member pointed out, there is an island with a castle on it visible when facing south on Al Mazrah, which could indicate that the leak is correct. Treyarch is also thought to be directing the construction of a new Warzone 2 map for 2023, with recent job advertisements from the studio for a new Level Designer corroborating the theory.
However, there has been no official confirmation from the creators on the Resurgence mode, so take these leaks with a grain of salt as always.
