The release date for Warzone 2 Season 3 is April 12, 2023, and it is expected to launch on Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST , following the end of Season 2’s battle pass timer on April 11, 2023. This information has been derived from leaks and the current battle pass timer in the game, as no official announcement has been made yet.
However, players can keep track of the time remaining in the current season by checking the Battle Pass timer in-game. It is also mentioned that Plunder and Warzone Ranked Play will be part of the modes in Warzone 2 Season 3.
Warzone 2 Season 3 Roadmap
Warzone 2 Season 3 will see the addition of new Operators (Alejandro and Valeria) , the return of Gunfight mode, and new maps for MW2 multiplayer and Ground War.
The official roadmap includes new modes for the battle royale, such as Plunder (mid-season) , Al Mazrah Massive Resurgence and Ranked Play (mid-season), along with new features like deployable buy station , Perk Packages (in-season) Gulag Entry Kit (in-Season) ,and Redeploy drones.
A new Gulag, UAV towers, and tempered armor vests will also be added. Overall, it looks like an exciting season for Warzone 2 players.

Warzone 2 Season 3: The Return of One-Shot Sniper Rifles
The upcoming Warzone 2 Season 3 update is generating excitement among players due to the sniper rifle buff that has been confirmed. Snipers have been relatively weak in the game so far, but the announcement confirms that one-shot sniper rifles will be returning.
This move follows the successful St. Patrick’s Day event and will give players the ability to take down fully-plated enemies with a single shot. According to the early Season 3 blog, players can expect the return of one-shot sniper rifles, but this will only be the case under certain attachment and platform conditions, which have not yet been specified by the developers. This exciting new season will introduce a new version of Resurgence called Massive Resurgence, which is played on the larger Al Mazrah map. In this mode, the player count will be increased to fit the larger map (up to 150 players), offering players the chance to take on dozens of duos or other squad sizes, depending on the weekly Playlist offering.
After the success of Resurgence with Ashika Island in Warzone 2 Season 2, the developers have officially confirmed that the mode will also be available for Al Mazrah in Season 3. This news was revealed in the trailer and roadmap, much to the delight of fans of the fast-paced Resurgence mode.

Warzone 2 Season 3 BlackCell Battle Pass
In Warzone 2 Season 3, players can look forward to the BlackCell Battle Pass offer, which is set to replace the current Battle Pass Bundle. This premier Battle Pass tier will provide everything from the standard Battle Pass, along with exclusive content, and can be purchased for $29.99.
For this price, players will receive access to the full Season 03 Battle Pass and 20 Tier Skips (25 on PlayStation), with 1,100 COD Points instantly awarded. Additionally, up to 1,400 COD Points will be awarded throughout the Battle Pass, along with a BlackCell Operator, attired in an imposing animated Camo skin, a Pro-Tuned Weapon Blueprint, Vehicle Skin, and Finishing Move.
Another exclusive feature of the BlackCell Battle Pass is the BlackCell Sector within the Battle Pass AO, which serves as an alternative starting location. Players will also have immediate unlocking of adjacent Battle Pass Sectors to the BlackCell Sector. Furthermore, every Season 03 Battle Pass Sector with an Operator Skin has a BlackCell variant (12 Skins in total) to unlock as additional, BlackCell-only Battle Pass content.
