What Is Assimilation In Warzone 2
In Warzone 2, the Assimilation is a new gameplay feature that enables players to invite an opponent from the same lobby to join their squad and occupy empty spots. This feature is only enabled in certain game modes at any given time, such as Battle Royale Duos, Battle Royale Quads, and Battle Royale Trios. The Assimilation Refill feature can only be used to fill up empty spaces in your squad in Battle Royale modes.
During a regular Warzone 2 playlist, players can only enlist new squad members until the maximum team size for that particular game is achieved. However, the Assimilation feature is most useful in the ‘Unhinged’ playlist where squads can grow up to six players. This means two trios can merge together to form a deadly squad and conquer Al Mazrah.

How to Use Assimilation In warzone 2
To use the Assimilation feature in Warzone 2, you can invite an enemy player to join your squad by holding down the Ping button when near them. This will bring up a menu wheel, and you’ll see the ‘Invite Nearby Players to Join Your Squad‘ option at the bottom right. Simply select it, and the invite will be sent to the enemy squad automatically. If they accept the invitation, they will join your team immediately.
If you’re a solo player and your squad has left you, there’s also the option to request to join an enemy squad if they have any empty spots available. To do this, repeat the process above, but choose the ‘Request To Join Nearby Enemy Squad‘ option instead.
You can also accept incoming requests from enemy players to join your party by selecting ‘Allow Player Name to Join Your Squad’ from the Ping Wheel menu.
